The wii balance board is a controller that is used with the game Wii Fit. It is wireless and does not involve the Wiimote. It measures the forces that is done on the board and the directions of the forces.

There are 10 other games in development which will take advantage of the balance board(according to Wikipedia).

The wiiboard was meant to be supported by GlovePIE on the PC, but it is very buggy and the values are all wrong.
