Wii Shop Channel

The Wii Shop Channel is where you can purchase Virtual Console titles as well as Wii Ware, including the Internet Channel. In order to purchase anything you need Wii Points, which can be purchased in the store or on the channel itself (with a credit card).

In order to access these pages, you will need to use Firefox and download the User Agent extension and apply this User Agent string:

Opera/9.00 (Nintendo Wii; U; ; 1038-58; Wii Shop Channel/1.0; en)

You can also view some pages via the Internet Channel.

XX stands for the two letter language code (en, jp, fr, es, etc...)
YY stands for the two letter country code (US, MX, etc...)

You wont be able to click any Javascripted buttons, but notice the Javascript function "showPage()".

If you extract out the first parameter in that call and paste it to the end of your url, you can navigate the site.

Extract: javascript:showPage("B_01.jsp");
To: "B_01.jsp"

And then appends it to the shop URL you will get:

http://oss.shop.wii.com/oss/common/vc/B_01.jsp

Certain pages within the shop will only be served through SSL. An example of the URL format for secure pages is:

https://oss.shop.wii.com/oss/secure/B_04_1.jsp?p=1&platform=FC/NES

The Internet Channel is only slightly compatible, and only for the first page, unless you directly link to another page, such as the Sonic the Hedgehog page.
