I've made a sensorbar and for the power supply I've used a USB cable that can be plugged into the Wii USB connector on the rear of the console. This can be simply made using 4 IR Led, anb 2 resistor to avoid overvoltage. It take about 30 minutes to cabling electrical part. I think it could be interesting to public a schematic for this because allow you to carry your console wherever you want without remove the original sensor bar from the position you hardly found to work perfectly for you.
