The Mii channel allows the user to create and manage Miis.

Mii's are used as an avatar for yourself in several games such as Wii Sports, Wii Play
or Mario Strikers Charged Football for your Online-Statistics.

[edit] Mii Residence

All Miis you make start out in the Mii Plaza, this is your personal Mii Park which all your Miis stay in. From this main plaza you can do several things such as:

Create new Miis
Pick up Miis and and make them fly around

[edit] Editing

After you Select a Mii to edit, you can then change facial features, height, girth, and accessories(Glasses, Beards, and Hats).
You can also create new Miis in a similar manner, starting from the standard face, customizing it as you see fit. You can also choose from a set of pre-made Miis, around 50, and then it gives you 8 more options to try and get closer to your final product.

Also, you can store up to 10 Miis on a Wii-mote to bring to a friends house.
You can also send any Mii to any Person in your Address Book as long as they have added you too.
Another, less precise method is available, the Mii Parade. It is a parade of random Miis from other consoles who you have both added to eachother's Address books. Although, for some reason, it doesn't disclose the creator of the Mii this way.
