Flipper
From WiiLi
Flipper is the codename of the main graphical processing unit (GPU) in the Nintendo GameCube. It was developed by ATi, exclusively for the GameCube. It has four pixel pipelines, with one texture unit each. Fully supports transform and lighting.
Peak triangle performance at 20,250,000 polygons per second at a 32 pixel screen depth, with one texture and one light. 337,500 triangles a frame at 30fps, and 675,000 triangles a frame at 60fps.
Flipper supports full-scene anti-aliasing and bilinear, trilinear, and anisotropic texture filtering. Multi-texturing, bump mapping, reflection mapping, and a 24-bit Z-Buffer are also some of it's capabilities.
