| Dell TrueMobile Bluetooth Modules | Use standard drivers? Microsoft Stack works | Standard issue included with many Dell Laptops |
| Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook laptop | Standard drivers that come bundled with the computer(Toshiba bluethoot stack) | |

| Lenovo 3000 N100 | standard drivers as supplied (Windows XP, Widcomm 5.0.1.1500 [2]) | It would not pair using "My Bluetooth Places" ~ "View Devices in Range". It stuck on the 'Skip' step of the connect, and failed if I used 'Pair Now'.
However, when I went via "My Bluetooth Places" ~ "Bluetooth Setup Wizard" ~ "I want to find a specfic device ..." it passed the 'Skip' step fine and all works. |
| ASUS Internal Bluetooth | Standard drivers (Toshiba Stack) | All ASUS laptops with Bluetooth as far as I know. |
| Hewlett-Packard Internal Bluetooth (Integrated Module with Bluetooth 2.0 Wireless Technology) | Standard drivers | Not entirely sure, but I would assume all HP laptops which have the (Integrated Module with Bluetooth 2.0 Wireless Technology) in the device manager should work |
| Toshiba Integrated Bluetooth 3 (Tested on Tecra-M3, Vista 32-bit) |
| Bluetooth integrated into toshiba laptops (at least M3), uses Cambridge chipset |

| Belkin F8T013-1 | Not sure if it's the shipped one, or WIDCOMM. Big mess of reinstall stuff. | Seems fully functional under GlovePIE to me. Apparently BlueSoleil will not detect it for some reason. | $65 AUD |
| Belkin F8T013xx1 (Similar to the above one) | Downloaded the drivers from Belkin's site(using drivers for the F8T013 ver.5.0.1XP) | Using the WIDCOMM ver5.0.1.1400 and it worked in GlovePIE using the TestWiimote.pie application. | ~$25 |

| Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle | Bundled software does not work. BlueSoleil works. ($10 after rebates) |
| D-Link DBT-122 (AI) Bluetooth Adapter | WIDCOMM stack from the DBT-120. | When using the 1.4.2.10 (1.42 Build 10 - not included on the bundled CD) version of the D-Link branded WIDCOMM stack, the "Skip Pairing" button successfully works. Tested with both GlovePIE 0.25 and Wiinmote WiinRemote v2006.12.13b.
I couldn't get 1.42 Build 10 drivers from DBT-120 to work with my DBT-122, they couldn't find the hardware. I did however get the Standard Drivers on the provided CD to work; If you use the "Bluetooth Setup Wizard" in "Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood" and choose "I want to find a specific Bluetooth device and configure how this computer will use its services" the "Skip Pairing" button will now work. Tested in GlovePIE 0.28 and WiinRemote v2006.12.20. Compatability with various drivers seems to be dependant on hardware version of the adapter. After updating the D-Link Bluetooth driver with this one http://www.broadcom.com/products/bluetooth_update.php, the Wiimote was successfully working with GlovePIE. It also recognized the wiimote in Fedora, but I havn't tested out the functionality yet. The instruction manual that came with this is completely in Chinese, but installation was a breeze. | $14.99AR |

[edit] Non-Working Bluetooth Devices
| Device | Description |
| Anycom 'Blue 200/250' | Links with Wiimote and receives data packets but nothing else. BlueSoleil drivers won't even see this dongle. Supposed to work with Kensington Stack - see list of compatible devices. |
| Tecom USB Dongle "Bluetooth USB EDR Dongle BT3034" (BT v. 2.0) | Tried with all sorts of stacks and drivers. |
| E. CYCLONE ADS-273 | Uses BlueSoleil v1.4 by default. Syncs, connects as a HID, but WiiMote stays in 'discovery' mode and creates no outut. Tested on Windows Vista Ultimate x86 + GlovePIE. (I also tested with the latest release of BlueSoleil, to no avail). |
| RocketFish Bluetooth EDR Class II Wireless USB Adapter | (VISTA) Using WIDCOM drivers on CD, WiiMote is discoverable, but no output. Using BlueSoleil - Bluetooth device not found. No luck with other stacks... |
| IoGear GBU221WM | Tested on Windows Vista, tried many different stacks and drivers. Wiimote never fully works. With stock drivers buttons work in GlovePIE but no leds, no rumble, no motion sensing. Updated to latest Vista drivers from IoGear's website, leds work but still no motion sensing and controller randomly disconnects after awhile. With latest WIDCOMM, same results. Was able to get motion sensing on the 2nd controller only for about 1 minute and then controller disconnected. Reconnected but couldn't get any motion sensing info. BlueSoliel doesn't even see the device. |
