Broadway

Broadway is the code name for the central processing unit (CPU) of Nintendo's Wii console.. It is based on a PowerPC architecture, and was designed specifically for the Wii by IBM: produced using a 90 nm SOI process. Broadway is fully backwards compatible with the Gekko CPU that the Gamecube utilizes, however uses 20% less power.

Unofficial reports claim Broadway is clocked at 729 Mhz, which makes it around 50% faster than it's predecessor, Gekko.
