One of the Wii selling points for me was that I haven't owned a console since the NES. I miss Zelda, played Majora's Mask once for a weekend, never even saw shots of OoT until I started Wii shopping. Last weekend I finally got my Zelda CE disc off ebay. Generally, a decent condition used copy goes for $35+ incl shipping. In truly mint, or in incredibly rare cases, new and sealed condition, it can go much higher. I've been closely watching listings since March. I've only seen two copies go for less than 25$ total, and one was a disc-only auction.

I wasn't willing to pay the 35$, so I waited for a deal. I got perfect storm lucky (really poor listing, no paypal allowed, Canada source, no picture, and no one else investigated quite like I did), and got mine for 8.04$ total. Runs perfectly, and in my brief testing of MM (said to have audio glitches caused by imperfect emulation), I have yet to hear anything really annoying.

I had considered holding off the purchase and just buying them all of them off the Virtual Console ($30,$10 each for OoT and MM, and 5 each for Zelda and Zelda 2), but I like it this way better. You can't beat the price either.

I had already started playing Wind Waker and already own TP, but now I'm going to start with OoT and play through in the order the games were made. Life is good.

Rather play it on the pc with wii remote. It's more fun that way.

Nintendo should take note. Both with VC games and GC games. At least on the VC front, it would be easy enough to let users design their own wiimote control schemes allowing motion control, and they should. Designers could even create recommended wiimote controls for particular games, downloadable at the user's option. GC mode is too seperate from the Wii to allow the same, but it shouldn't be. If they wanted to, they could make it work there too.

Romage is, as you say, on the shady side of the law. But Nintendo could still stand to learn a few things from the people that do it.
