I got the same error, without WiiRemoteJ.jar in P5's library folder.
can you read the following document?
https://sourceforge.jp/projects/wrj4p5/document/SetUp/en/2/SetUp.txt
i'm afraid that the japanese document is present on your browser, in spite of the english one.
my testing env. is OSX and WinXP.
WinXP has j2re1.4.2_06, jre1.5.0_11, jre1.6.0_02.
pls confirm above.

but now processing give me this error

i completely forgot the fact, WiiRemoteJ_v1.0 needs jre 1.5 or later.
Cha0s is also offering 1.4 compatible jar, but it's version number is v0.9.

and README.txt included Cha0s's WiiRemoteJ release.
i don't check my lib with v0.9, but it may do well.
i hope it goes well.
if you use P5 with java fo windows, pls try without java version.

sorry for my inconvinience,
i change jre in linux processing...
i try jre 1.6 and 1.5 and your library and the example run without problem
but when i close the window's running programm it return me this error:
