which brings me to another question, i haven't licensed a lot of software and i was wondering what the pros and cons of various licenses are. is there a link? if i wanted it to be able to be used in wiili, would it have to be GPL'd? what about LGPL?

also, how easy is it to change a license once i've already released it?

If you're the sole author, you can change it whenever you want, it's your property. If you release something under GPL, you have to make that version available but nothing says you can't close the source later. It only gets hairy when you start accepting other people's code when they don't pass the copyright to you.

apparently marcan is already far into the linux driver (and did most of the rev engineering anyways) so i'll keep doing this windows stuff because the hardware control is much more powerful than the delphi based tool already out.

wiimote-gui NOW SUPPORTS MORE THAN ONE WIIMOTE

mikeyin.o rg/wii (it'd be nice to be able to post links...)

each instance of the program can connect to a separate wiimote.
if IR is enabled on both, both wiimotes control the mouse and in essence there are two mouse pointers (try it!).

more button mapping is next, but development will probably have to wait because i'm going to be in the gulf of mexico for a week.

Hi Mikey,

I am currently programming a C++ Wiimote API under Windows.

Maybe, we can share some knowledge.
