I hate having to go downstairs to my wii when I want to play fps on my pc with my wiimote, would two of these work as an alternative to a sensor bar? |

The product contains an IR emitter and an IR detector so that it can transmit and receive signals to any device you connect.
Whether or not it will work depends what the idle state is. If the idle state is constantly emitting IR then it will work, however for power saving reasons that's probably unlikely - instead, it's probably set up not to emit any IR until it receives a handshake signal from another device.
Much easier (and cheaper) would be to mod stock the sensor bar to run from a USB port. I'll be posting a video diary and pictures soon. |
