I'm too cheap to go out and by/make a wireless sensor bar so I was wondering if my idea would work.
If I keep my wii turned on with the sensor bar plugged into it beside my computer will it power the sensor bar so I can use it with my PC?
sorry if I'm not being too clear |

it might, but you probably will need to connect your wiimote to your computer before turning the wii on to avoid the wii "stealing" the wiimote from you computer _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

it WOULD work, but it would be ineficient, cuz u'd be having ur wii turned on and it'll be running for no reason.
it took me like 10 mins with 2 old remotes, and a hot glue gun, and a soldering iron, to make a portable sensor bar which works on my pc, AND WII!! and what houses the 2 ir leds, is a small old stereo remote, which fits in my pocket!
so yes your idea could work, but i recommend, to have a little fun, and make your own sensor bar. _________________ do it right, do it once, or dont do it at all |
