Mostly, pages aren't loading at all (giving the DB error below), though occasionally a page comes through. Not complaining, just informing. Apologies if I missed another thread or a notice.

Database error
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:

(SQL query hidden)

from within function "MediaWikiBagOStuff::_doinsert". MySQL returned error "1205: Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction (localhost)".

It appears to have resolved itself.

Weird. Confused , Just in case backups are strong. Very Happy , last backup of the wiki DB + forum DB + images are over 1GB now. And yes the backups are on a very safe place, away from the server.

And for some extra security, anyone knows a good script to backup the complete server without "umounting"?

How about FTP back-up? You set up an FTP server and it backs up automatically.
