I have been playing around with the Wii remote lately, and this is my first prototype combining Wii remote input + physics! It's a virtual version of a toy, where you flick a stick back and forth between other sticks. Screenshots and video below!

created with the Ogre 3D rendering engine, and Newton Game Dynamics physics engine... Wii remote input via cWiiMote library.

wow, I uploaded last night, and the youtube video still hasn't gone live!

I will try uploading again. in the meanwhile, you can download the video directly from my website (2nd link in the above post)...

UPDATE
I have uploaded to GOOGLE VIDEO, and that link is live. the URL has been added to the first post. I don't have a high enough post count to make the links myself, I will go back and fix it later once I have full account status.

Laughing that amazing!

It would be great if someone could build a 3d game dedicated to the wiimote and the nunchuk. A sword fighting game with first person shooter view, using the wiimote as a sword and the nunchuk as a shield.. Rolling Eyes

Could you upload the compiled binary? I'd love to try this! Very nice video btw!

Also, does the lib you're using support nunchuka yet? It won't vibrate, but you should at least have that option (and it shouldn't be too hard to implement if the lib supports it since they work pretty much the same)

As much as I enjoyed Red Steel as a shooter...the swordfighting was really boring. Hopefully in the future there will be a good sword fighting game!

Once I clean it up a bit, I will release a binary. The library supports the nunchuk, so I should be able to make that an option as well.
