I love it! I was planning on making one, but never got around to it.
Maybe I'll make the GoogleEarth one, or perhaps the skyroads one. We can't have YouTube videos that can't be done in GlovePIE |

Upgraded to v0.9
There may or may not be updates after this, I have a tendency to spontaneously tweak things (I've already updated it over 10 times in 24 hours), but this version is pretty good if I do say so myself |

Hah I Love it!, was just doing the normal waving a light saber thing then saw myself in the mirror doing the motions....
I looked ridiculous but i don't care. Girlfriend smiled at me weirdly as well...
As for the sound problem i copied files so the sounds still stay in their own folder e.g.
\GlovePIE025\Lightsaber Sounds\
\GlovePIE025\WiinSaber.PIE
Edit: I used this file he posted in his EDIT2: Done Very Happy Get everything here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/7462497/WiinSaber_v0.9.rar.html
To avoid confusion. |

With just one saber you're only "playing with yourself"
Can this be done for two or more sabers? I tried the obvious for us common folk: duplicated the script and variables to account for a secondary remote.
The "on" sound partially played when the other saber started up. Everything seemed kind of OK at first, but when me and the kids got busy, I got the BSOD. When Windows XP Pro came back up, it said my sound card was most likely the cause.
My questions are:
1 - Does anyone think it is worth investigating my sound card (which has never been a problem before)?
2 - Is it even possible to do multiple sabers?
3 - Am I just going about it the wrong way?
Thanks. |

I got it to work with multiple wiimotes. It involves however, running two instances of GlovePIE.
Open up the WiinSaber script in one, replace all of the "wiimote" stuff, with "wiimote1".
Open up the WiinSaber script in another GlovePIE, and replace all of the "wiimote" stuff with "wiimote2".
Run both, and enjoy. |
