I don't believe it- we knew that you could connect the remote to a PC, but no one has been able to calibrate it/get the cursor to move with it.

The pictures unfortunately provide no proof this, either.

I think it will become a reality sooner or later and when it does, I'm buying a remote and nunchuck! (if I decide to not buy the Wii)

I wouldn't be to surprised if they have it working using the plus sign to control the mouse. Given I don't know anything about windows drivers, this could be done in linux in a matter of a day or so using a userspace daemon to convert the output of hcidump to the format used by the mouseX files and then pipe it to a fifo which would be read from X11. Really, i'm not sure why that isn't happening at the driver level already. The hard (and interesting) part would be getting the motion sensors/IR bar to work correctly since they do not print out data by default.
