Greetings!

I'm currently developing software that is for visualizing and exploring data sets, and I'd like to incorporate a 3D input device.

How accurate is the 3d positioning using the Wiimote? I know that some small mathematical gymnastics (which don't scare me) are done to get the position, but has anybody really measured how accurate this is to any level of precision? Even just a "well, it's not that accurate" or "I've had great success!" might help, if you elaborate.

In direct relation to this, has anybody seen any spec sheets on the upcoming Darwin controller by Motus? This is a possible alternative I've considered. I've emailed them on two different occasions asking about small-time developer support/precision of the controller and have not gotten a response. I can't find a tech spec sheet anywhere...

I'd really appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

~Jesse
