Wii hack for Linux.

Linux hack for PS3.

Hmm... anyone else see the logical progression I'm hinting at?

Would it be possible to get the Wiimote to work on the PS3... perhaps even controlling the menu and what not?

F*** the PS3.

It'd be a disgrace to put the WiiMote on the PS3.

However, I guess it would be possible.

I doubt you could get bluetooth to work.

If the PS3 Linux supports Bluetooth Conectivity, you own the Linux Dirvers of The Wii Mote? It could be a yes, is going to work.

Lol, I don't know why anyone suggested PS3 controler on the Wii. I'd be interested once Linux on the Wii is a reality!

I think that it would be possible to put the wiimote on the PS3 because all you would need is a USB bluetooth adapter, linux bluetooth drivers, and linux wiimote drivers and you would think that would work. Not that I'm an expert, just speculating.

I don't think it would work the other way around. To my knowledge, the PS3 uses a proprietary technology of some kind for it's controllers. Not Bluetooth. (though I could be wrong)
