I bought an adapter with the Broadcom 2045 chipset. I'm using Windows Vista and WIDCOMM 6.0.1.5500. I can get the Wiimote to connect and Vista will install a HID driver for it, but the light keep blinking. I am also unable to retrieve Miis or do anything else with it. Any help?
Does anyone have a previous version of the WIDCOMM software? I just tried installing the latest one, and 6.0 came with my adapter. It is not like the tutorial (it has a separate add device dialog and takes a while in searching)

The lights are suppossed to keep blinking after its connected, or at least mine always do, its a good sign for me when they do cause it tells me that it worked, go in gloviepie and try wiimote.leds=0 and see if it works

also i have version WIDCOMM 6.0.1.5000 / WIDCOMM 6.0.1.3300 / WIDCOMM 5.1.0.2700 i can upload to rapidshare and will post to this bord later.

If either of you who have those older versions of the WIDCOMM software could upload them, I would greatly appreciate it. I have 6.2.6000.1 and it doesn't work with the Wii remote.
