|

Hey, my Wiimote arrived today!
I've got one of the recommended dongles on this site with Bluesoleil. I've installed BlueSoleil, and followed the tutorial on this site for how to connect the Wiimote. Windows installed the drivers for a bluetooth gaming device, but the Wiimote doesn't stop blinking!
The Wiimote turns green in Bluesoleil but the line between it and the orange circle keeps having a red dot sent down it!
Please help! |

Sorry, i've been quite vague there. I'm just trying to get this working ASAP!
I've set up my dongle on the PC and installed Bluesoleil. I've gone through the intial installation processes of the Wiimote, all the way to the stage where the icon in tray is green, and there is a line between the Wiimote and the orange circle in Bluesoleil itself. However, no data seems to transfer between the Wiimote and my PC beyond the intial packets. It stops at approximately 243 bytes etc and doesn't increase. The recieved number increases as i press buttons, so it's obviously connected OK. The Wiimote keeps blinking all 4 lights as long as the PC is connected to it.
GlovePIE doesn't recognise the Wiimote. What's wrong? Please respond ASAP!!
Thanks in Advance |

| I have the EXACT same problem. I am using the Airnet ABT101 dongle on my windows XP PC, using the default 1.6 stack, and it will seem to connect, however GlovePIE testwiimote.PIE shows no activity in the debug window and wiinremote causes the cursor to permanently move up/left, which is exactly what happens when I use the accelerometer PIE scripts included with glovePIE. I am using v.29 of GlovePIE btw. Please help! You guys make it look so easy! |

It doesn't see it, because you didn't finish all the steps of the tutorial.
Go to the main page, How-to, How To: BlueSoleil, and try again. |
