This is like my screen looks like:

The buttons are working fine, Wiinremote detect them and I can set a function to them in GlovePIE. But I can do nothing by moving, shaking, rotating or wathever the wiimote. |

like deathrabbit said, you didn't finish the connection process. Read the tutorial more carefully.
You can see that bluesoliel connected to the wiimote, but it isn't feeding the information to windows. It does this using the human interface device (the mouse icon on top)
You must:
1- Connect the wiimote as you have shown, which gives you a signal meter
2- Click the wiimote
3- Click the mouse icon to start the human interface device |

That's not it guys. It's when the HID is connected that the Wiimote goes into discoverable mode and stays there. I've been looking for a fix to this with no success. Using latest Bluesoleil with BT stack 5.0. I do hope someone knows what's going on. |

| i got the same thing happening. i've used the wiimote before without problems, with regular drivers and with bluesoleil, but what happens now is that i press 1 and 2, connect the wii remote with the mouse button in bluesoleil so the symbol turns green, and then the leds on the wiimote just blink forever. if i start up wiinremote or glovepie, however, and then close them (in glvoepie i have to start and stop a script first), wiinremote causes all led's to stop blinking and led 4 to stay on full, and glovepie, when it closes after running a script, turns all leds off permanently. however, neither can recognize motion or buttons. pls help |

I'm not sure if this will add anything to the thread, but what you just described there is the exact same thing that happens with my, but I'm using a widdcomm stack (which I managed to get working, but lost the "my bluetooth places" functionality so I have to go thru the wizard each time I want to connect my 'mote...), and it seems that the more time I take to connect and the more time I keep the 1 and 2 buttons pressed before, during and/or after finishing the wizard, the more likely it is the leds will get jammed (and I have the faint impression it didn't jammed all that much nor required me to keep the buttons down for so long to not loose the connection when I first got it, perhaps gpie, wiinremote or one of the test programs I downloaded from the net modified it in some way, either that or the conditions of my machine have deteriorated some more...) _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
phpBB doesnt like me,somtimes it will forget to warn me about new replies to threads I asked it to,if you see a thread I should have responded, could please email me? |

Same problem for me too.
I've followed all the bluesoleil instructions to the letter, the 4 lights on the remote continue to flash and GlovePie just won't recognise it.
However, I recently installed a MOD for HL2 which enables the wiimote to work in the program and as soon as I get into that the lights stop blinking and the wiimote is recognised. I exit out and the wiimote is still not recognised by glovepie.
I'm at a total loss, I've followed every tutorial, piece of advice and video demonstrations to the letter and it just won't come out of discovery mode until I start the HL2 MOD.
Added:
And now it appears that it's stopped working in the the HL2 Mod as well so who can really say what the hell is going on? |
