Do you guys have CE0125 printed on the left side of your Wiimote?
If so, it might simply not work because it's a newer model like the 4th Wiimote that came with my Wii Play game. |

Thanks for the heads up the_importer, I do have that on the side, obviously Australia got the newer wiimotes from the get go.
Incidentally in frustration I uninstalled Blue Soleil 3.0 and tried 2.3 and the wiimote worked straight away.
The motherboard started beeping at me every 15 seconds or so but after enabling bluetooth FIX and then disabling it, it stopped. Go figure.
But now that it's working I'm using it to control Itunes with the script posted by fluffman.
ADDED:
started my PC this morning to discover that no matter what I tried the wiimote will only sit there flashing it's 4 lights at me. Even though it's sending data to the pc, only the button pressing sends data to the bluetooth device, and they don't work when I try using it with the iTunes script |

I have a wiimote with CE0125 on the side of it and all it does is blinks.
I have
Windows XP SP2
Iogear usb bluetooth adaptor
Bluesoleil 2.3
Glovepie 2.9
Ninetendo Wii with CE0125 on the side
I followed instructions to a tee with Bluesoleil. I get the ninetendo icon sending a signal to the orange ball and the lights on the Wiimote just flash when I connect and quit when I disconnect. I selected the bluetooth fix in glovepie, run scripts and nothing happens other than the lights on the Wiimote keep blinking.
I tried the automatic option for the Bluesoleil and tried to add the bluetooth device in control panel and it can't find it. I think the problem is with the stack because I have tried Wiimote and RMX drivers and still can't make it work.
Maybe I need a different bluetooth adaptor. This one did not have a signed driver and could not find one in the Iogear updates.
Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks! |

I have the same setup as most of you guys and I think I have got a work-around. Ok, I will just start off and tell you everything I do to get the Wiimote working and I'm not sure if all of these steps are needed.
Here it goes:
I open up GlovePIE with Bluetooth fix off. I connect my wiimote and I do everything those tutorials tell me to do (to get it connected). I open up a PIE file and run one (anyone) and keep it running. I use Cylon.
Status check: right now the wiimote is connected and all the lights are blinking forever.
Turn the bluetooth fix on. Turn it off.
Hurray! Right now it should be working now. If you are running Cylon you will notice the lights on the wiimote flowing on and off.
Only the new version of the wiimote seems to work for me NOT the one that came with my Wii.
I hope this helps you guys! |

@cheesemoo0
Thanks, your fix worked for me. It also works if I skip the Bluetooth fix step; just starting and stopping Cylon does the job. _________________ position: absolute - Stuff for Creative Freaks |
