My bluetooth adapter is detected as a Broadcom BCM2045A (though I'm not actually sure what kind it is). I'm using the WIDCOMM stack, and I have successfully paired the Wiimote with my computer.

When I run either GlovePIE or WiinRemote, the LEDs function properly, but the Wiimote doesn't send any information to the computer (accelerometer, buttons, anything).

In the connection details, it reports the signal strength correctly. Just to illustrate the issue, the Wiimote reports 250 bytes sent and over 40kb received after running WiinRemote. I assume the received information was to turn the LEDs on and off.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try to remove the battery from the Wiiremote, then reconnect it again.
