Hey I've got the same problem on my Windows XP computer and trying different wiimotes doesn't work for me either.
So I downloaded GlovePIE on my HP Laptop with vista home premium using the same bluetooth adapter and it worked fine. Confused
The wiimote would work fine on XP when I was using Bluesoleil but that was giving me the blue screen of death whenever I tried using the nunchuk, sensor bar, or almost anything. Sad
Someone please help!!!
The adapter is a D-Link DBT-120 (H/W:B2) and I'm using the Microsoft stack on both XP and Vista.
I even tried using a different adapter (Linksys USBBT100)and I still got the same problem.
and I have no Idea when the drivers were last updated, and I'm not sure if I still can update them because I don't think I have the CD that came with the adapter. Sad
Note: The driver version for the D-Link adapter is 6.0.6000.16682 on Vista and 5.1.2600.2180 on XP, I'm thinking this is the problem.

I have exactly the same problem here... except that it magically decided to work for about three days, and then died again. I don't know what I did to get it to work, or why it died again, I guess it was that magical three days when I still had bits of one or two BT stacks installed alongside another one in my desperate attempt to get the blasted thing to work.

FWIW, I'm using Vista64 and some generic BT dongle that has an antenna that's just a piece of plastic, no wire inside it Laughing
