Go there for more information. It converts videos to flash video to play from your own webserver.

Couldn't you just download Flash 8, import a video into the library, export the flv and then stream that in a flash video player?

Not trying to be a troll or whatever. Just asking if it does anything else?

I've had WiiCR working in the past, but now this computer has an 802.11g wifi card in it, and I wanted to try and get WiiCR streaming some media I have using the latest version. I tried to install it, and I couldn't get it working at all. I installed XAMPP, but then when I try and install the XAMPP Perl Add On, it complains that some components are out of date, when in fact they are not. Can anyone help me solve that problem? I'd like to run this on WinXP Pro SP2.

Thanks in advance.

I'm running the new Ubuntu release (7.04 Feisty Fawn).
I finally managed to get Wiirc to run.

None of the other programs I tried would do it:
picostreamer, pimpware through wine, etc.

It takes a while to encode videos (and therefore play them).
Each hour long divx episode takes over an hour to encode.
I am running a 500 mghtz box, so that would explain
a large chunk of that time.

There are 2 pages on wiicr dot org that were extremely
useful to me. One is off the main page. Click 'how to install'
near the top.
The other is in the forums. Go to the forums index, then to 'Linux.'
The first item on this page is "Updated Install Instructions."
Follow them exactly.

good luck
