My Wiimote was working completely fine, and I used Carl's Zelda script. The nunchuck never worked, and I got frustrated. While it was still in "run" mode, I unchecked "Bluetooth Fix" hoping it would work. It didn't. Then it wouldn't work at all, even after connecting again and again. I also tried rechecking bluetooth fix, NOTHING worked. I then installed BlueSoleil, which made matters worse, because when I uninstalled it, it also uninstalled all of my bluetooth software. So I did a System Restore to the day before, and it STILL will not connect. Nothing is working, ANY help is appreciated! It was working perfectly earlier, so why wouldn't it now?
I'm using a Targus Bluetooth USB dongle, a Wireless sensor bar, and I can provide any other information if needed..... |

Do you have any other bluetooth devices that you can test? Are they working?
I assume you are not running Vista?
Sometimes simply unplugging the bluetooth adapter and plugging it in again can fix things.
If you are using BlueSoleil, (which it was originally designed for) Bluetooth fix needs to be off. Bluetooth fix is for some other bluetooth stacks, because people had trouble with them not working. Some bluetooth stacks work fine with either setting. Either way you should be able to read button presses on the wiimote, it is just everything else besides button presses that it affects.
If the wiimote is connected, but you aren't getting wiimote buttons, you can try seeing if Wiimote2 works or Wiimote3 or whatever. This is a problem with the way the bluetooth stacks leave devices hanging around when they are disconnected. This happens a lot with the Widcomm stack. If you can clear all the unconnected devices so they are not listed in the bluetooth stacks's window then that may fix it.
Otherwise I'm not really sure what the problem is |

Hi all,
my name is giuliano, i have experienced the same problem.
A solution is (after inserting dongle):
- open Computer Management
- open Hardware Manager
- Delete ALL IS BLUETOOTH from HID
Then repeat procedure to connect Wiimote: windows will re-create all his things and.. IT WORKS!!!

| My hero! Been trying to get this thing to work all day. I swore the computer was trying to make me crazy by telling me it sensed the controller but couldn't make it work. |

OK look... i got a nice broadcom bluetooth adapter working on windows XP. Every time I was trying to connect my wiimote to my PC everything was working alright... GlovePIE was working perfectly. But since one day I can't connect my wiimote with or with not GlovePIE.
OK here's what I always doing:
<1> Start the bluetooth device
<2> Add a bluetooth device
<3> Press 1 and 2 keys on the wiimote
<then the wiimote starts blinking>
<4> Click Next
<5> Select the Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 and click Next
<6> Click Skip
<7> Make checked the Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 option
<8> Click Finish
<But the wiimote continues blinking and does not work with GlovePIE. When I check the Entire Bluetooth Neighborhood th Nintendo RVL-CNT-01 device it is shown connected. Wiimote will stop blinking only if I disconnect it or the device run out of battery power. My bluetooth adapter works correctly with any other devices.>
Am I doing something wrong? |
