hi
first of all ive done a search on phones and havnt found such a thing
i hope you wont flame at me for this
basically i create homebrew apps for the psp and ive always had an idea that it would be possible to use the wii remote to control a phone and then interpret the signal then send a number relevant to a button through the an IR port, this would enable a wider range of non-bluetooth devices to be controlled by the wii remote
basically if it isnt to much of a bother to anyone, would anyone be willing to create such an app, they will of course get full credit but this is me and other asking whether you could help us in developing games for the psp
i would do it my self but i am only learning JAVA and i can see it taken me a while.
i do realise that people get annoyed at people asking them to create program when they them selfs should be the ones creating it but it would give great life to the psp scene
does anyone even have such an app already made released or not
thank you |

I would love to get things working on mobile phones, but due to the way JSR-82 (Java Bluetooth) is specified, a connection to the Wii Remote is technically not possible. Sun, realizing the problems the specification posed, made an exception and violated the spec when releasing J2SE (standard Java for the computer). Mobile providers, however, tend to follow the spec, meaning that it is impossible to connect a mobile phone to a Wii Remote via Bluetooth (the technical reason is that the Wii Remote connects on PSMs 0x11 and 0x13, both technically out of the legal range of the JSR-82 specification).
In summary, I'd love to help you, but it just isn't feasible. _________________ Cha0s |
