hello everyone! well, since today is "release" day lol Laughing

i figured i might as well work a little bit on Wii OS, and then release what changes i've done so far to it. everyone's dream has come true, you can customize it now Rolling Eyes

but i'm sorry for takin so long everyone...i've just been busy in life, ya know? im making a small RPG game, and doing all these other things....so hopefully atleast someone cares that im actually releasing yet another version of Wii OS Razz

but heres whats new, taken directly from whats_new.txt

(v1.2 beta 3/13/07)
+ Lol, I've reached beta stage Razz

+ Added a few more "games" to the disc channel (just for laughs)
+ Customization Support (you can set it up manually, or use the Wii OS Configurator Tool)
+ Supports all resolutions. Go ahead and run Wii OS now in 1024x768 resolution, it doesn't matter. Go ahead and run it in 2048x1536, it will still work lol.
+ New Configurator Tool I made myself.
+ Color changes and fixes (thanks xander320!)
+ New PC and Gameboy Menus (using colors I picked myself)
+ 2 Scripts, one for IR, and the regular for tilt sensor.

please read the guide.txt! it explains everything you need to know in there. and also read the README! - it explains alot of stuff too. if you have any questions that are NOT answered in the readme or in the guide...then ask me Very Happy

Well, have you tried looking for a file called Kirby_Menu.gif in the C:\Wii OS\Snap\ folder? I have a hunch it's not there.

If you can't find this file, just pick any image you got around and rename it, paste it in the mentioned folder, and voilá!

It should work...

Looks like Filepath's are Hardcoded=/ just put the whole OS In C:\
(Local Disk)

why did you release this the same day as dr-sous when your miles behind him with your program!?!?!? I mean you shouldve at least waited untill you had a program that was somewhere close to his. But your light years behind him in so many ways.

1. you cant run psx games
2. No internet explorer
3. it has to be in a certain directory in the computer. No free movement.
4. it just stinks compared to Dr-sous's

if i was to rate them out of 10 id give you a 2 and him a 8 all that he needs to fix are some minor bugs and spelling........ who cares about spelling!!

are you an english major or a gamer!?

You just cant find anyhting to say wrong about his program so you go for the stupidest things like spelling..
