well i'm KINDA ALMOST done with this thing i was workin on for a lil' while. just got a couple small kinks to work out. but hey! why am i still talking! check it out here lol

i dont have a wii, nor did i use one to make this. but if i can get the wii from my friend, i bet i could make it more accurate. oh well lol. but this is just a small short video, and it can do lots more than what i've shown. it has weather and news, and controls for genesis, snes, nes, and n64. i've been done for a while but i just finally got off my ass to record a video lol
it's not perfect, but i still like it. gets the job done nicely Smile

I have a similar setup for my emulator/multimedia frontend, but it never occurred to me to try to make it imitate the Wii's channel system. That's pretty clever.

How does it work? How are you creating the health & safty screen along with the wii main channel

i watched a bunch of youtube videos, and made everything from scratch. (from what i saw on youtube). and im not bullshitting...

um...obviously of course i made a glovepie script to go along with the program....i ran the script before i started the video...and then you know, its just like the regular wii. you hit A on the health and safety screen...and the program pops up and what not. you move the hand cursor around...it has every little detail built into it. then when you pick a game, it runs the game selected...(and the emulator to go along with it) and it loads right away, and goes fullscreen and then...you play the game with the wii remote. um...you hit home and you go back to the regular screen...i dont know what else to say lol. basically all i can say, is that its just like the real thing...or pretty damn close.
