Working link.

I think it's a fake. There could be another Wii under the TV which you can't see in the video. Also the disc drive doesn't flash when the game comes up. I've seen other (original) games where the drive is flashing when loading (don't have my wii yet so I'm just guessing).

Anyway, if this is real it is a really bad day for Nintendo... Don't know if I should be lucky about that.

Best Regards
igno

this is a very interesting video and a promising breakthrough for this wiili project. id love to see this turn into a way to run some unsigned code, namely wiili , but dont get your hopes up yet since this maybe a fluke or a trick with two wiis as stated by the user above

It is very obviously fake.

There are two Wii consoles, one is off-stage. Listen to the noise the console makes upon inserting the first (visible) disc. The Disc Channel icon does not move or respond in any way. The person then moves the cursor around as though he is waiting for the Wii to read the disc, during which you can hear the same mechanical loading sound of a second Wii — hooked up to the television set — where the actual copy of Rayman is loaded and played from.

And unlike these jokesters, I explain how things are done, as I think we all want credit for our discoveries, no?
