Hi,
Can anybody help? I really confused with the problem of my wiimote battery:
I can connect the wiimote with my PC and use GlovePIE029 perfectly. But the problem is the wiimote becomes very hot and the battery run off very quickly (around 30-40 minutes). And even if i didn't connect the wiimote with PC, its battery also runs off very quickly.
After I sync the wiimote with the Wii console again, the wiimote comes back to normal status(it isnt hot and battery stops run off).
I tried my sony laptop's inside Bluetooth and a USB TDK Bluetooth dongle. And BlueSoleil2.3 and TOSHIBA Bluetooth stack. But the problem is still same.
Any body has encountered this problem before? I looking forward for your idea and help.
Many many thanks. |

| wierd... are your batteries alkaline or rechargable? If it's rechargable, have you tried using a different set of batteries? |

Thanks alot for you replay,
I didn't use rechargable batteries. I tried DURACELL and Panasonic batteries. It's the same problem.
I have two wiimotes and both of them encountered this problem.
Actually, i found it is not the battery becomes hot, it is the wiimote itself. The speaker part of the wiimote starts to get hot meanwhile the batteries are still cold.
This problem just happend after i sync the wiimote with my PC's bt. Even after disconnect the wiimote with my pc, the wiimote still keeps on getting hot. But when i sync it with my wii again, it come back to normal.
So i guess, the wiimote maybe get some information(command) from my PC's bt and keep on writting(burning) something to its EEPROM. And after it sync with wii, it get right information(command) from wii and just finish writting the EEPROM.
I just wonder am i the only people encountered this kind of problem?! |
