|
Hi,
im unable to connect my wiimote with bluecove 2.0.2 and bluesoleil (WinXp, Java 1.6) - im getting these "not supported" errors.
Tried installing widcomm drivers, but my bluetooth device is not recognzied then.
Question:
Which devices definitly work with the WIDCOMM drivers?
If someone wants to use my app. later, will he also need these drivers installed?

Whoever uses your app will need:
1. A stack, be it WIDCOMM (Windows), BlueSoleil (Windows, sometimes works), BlueZ (Linux), Apple's default (Mac), that works with JSR-082.
2. A JSR-082 implementation, be it Avetanna (all OSes) or BlueCove (Mac and Windows).
3. WiiRemoteJ (this works for everything because it's written in pure Java ).
You can package WiiRemoteJ with your app, so that takes care of #3. #2 depends on the license of the JSR-082/the OS you're distributing to. #1 you have no control over as it depends on the individual Bluetooth dongle. _________________ Cha0s |
