different materials have different transparencies for different wavelengths, for example, you can see infrared radiation easily thru a plastic bottle full of coke, and for the naked eye coke looks black, or at most orange

ps:depending on how much ir radiation is filtered by your camera it might not show much after going thru coke

I understand. Smile

I think I will try these lenses I found first, but I don't have very high hopes. I am finding it difficult to find samples of these IR LED's. It seems to be a minimum of a 100$ order. :S

Those remotes arn't focused like I need them to be. :S

I may just get 2 lenses, and 2 IR Lasers, and figure out which works best. Add a wiki page or something for people with massive screens, and be done with it.

COD3 is just too painful with a cocked wrist.

You can get IR led's from radio shack for 1.79, (way overpriced) or you can go to "eled dot com" and get single orders at 20 cents per led. The only problem is shipping is flat rate $8 (maybe you can call them and ask to have them snail mail it for 37 cents)

I would say IR LEDS from behind the screen are worth a try

I just finished making my new sensor bar (for use with a PC and wiimod for hl2).

I used 4 940 nm wavelength LEDs and it works just fine.
