Can you guys post some of the Points Card numbers that are already used. I'm sure theres some sort of logarithm, just like the same way credit cards use the luhn check to see if its a valid credit card number. When you use a credit card it passes the luhn check, its declared valid. I just want to see if the points card has a similar kind of pattern. So if you guys could post some used numbers, thanks. _________________ --Bradley

I don't have a Wii yet, but as soon as I get mine I'll use my 2000 Points one and give the number to you |

Here's my used card:
(No Wii Point Cards Are To Be Displayed - Thanks)
Doing the luhn check gave 72 as the total... If you found a pattern, that'd be pretty cool... |

I'm pretty sure the luhn check won't work for these cards. But I'm sure its a similar logarithm. We just have to find the pattern... Hopefully with each number posted it'll help us find it out. _________________ --Bradley

isnt there a chance Nintendo would find out about this? Or what if some1 buys a point card with a number we already used on it? _________________ Sig under construction.... |

This probably will never work. Remember the mountain dew sweepstakes that gave away 1 360 every 10 minutes. its used a code on the bottom of the caps. This guy collected thousands of used caps to try and determine an algorithm and produce a keygenerator. The keygen he made never produced a real number.
I'm willing to bet that each code is created randomly and put into a database that the wii checks against upon activation.
Good luck anyway, but I don't think you'll get anywhere. |

Yeah.. you're not going to be able to generate WORKING numbers but you will be able to generate numbers which might be sitting on the shelf which you've got about a [no. produced]/9999999999999999 chance of hitting it and thats stealing worse than pirating games since other people will pay the price instead of just the developers <_< _________________ ninkul.net
