I know this might be a little early to talk about Updates
But have you any ideas if internet updates via Wii will be possible?
Core question is: Will the CD be able to load Wiili from an external Harddrive (with newest Wiilii files) or will you have to download and burn Wiili every time an update is released?! _________________ Wiideos.com |

Nothing exists yet, so this is just a shot in the dark, but I'm guessing you'll be able to burn a cd that has all of the initial files on it. It will have all it needs to mount the SD Card as a hard drive. Then any new packages and updates would be downloaded to the SD Card.
This is how other distros like puppy linux work with it's frugal install... All of the OS files are stored and booted off the CD, then half way through bootup it mounts a compact flash or usb disk and loads your personal settings and any additional packages you've installed.
Of course you can probably also use rewritable disks and just keep burning over the old image whenever a new one is released.

My guess is that either WiiLi can be updated through a burned disk, or downloading it to an SD card. _________________ Evil Avatar |

| maybe the live cd has nothing other than sd reading software on it, you put wiili on the sd card so it can be easily edited |
