dude, read the FAQs, they are everywhere
yes, it does work on PAL USA and JAP.
btw segher is also working on a wii linux...
the first of segher or gc-linux team that makes a full, autoupdatable distro (something like ubuntu with apt get for apps that can run on the wii) i think should get the chip in, and 25% goes to team tweezers for enabling homebrew to run.
but seriously, we are NEVER going to be able to just insert a BURNED disc into an UNMODIFIED wii, and get it to boot.
unless DATEL makes a pressed disc that installs DATEL MEDIA LOADER channel or something like that.
but thats not free either...
