Hey hey,

I can translate to Dutch and i can upload the iso/images to newsgroups. Need a .nl domain for it. I'll try to get a free .eu (european domain).

Why make different sites for languages, since Mediawiki supports multi-language ?
It would be much easier to have all languages in the same site, ain't it ?

(if you don't know how : make a different page, with the name of the page in this lang or a suffix, and to choose between language (in a box like in Wikipedia), just write [[lg:PageNameInThisLang]], [[fr:Accueil]], [[en:home]], etc in the edit page. And for the forum, maybe make a subsection for each principal language.

i think having so many phpbbs isn't a problem. most people are are using google like "wii linux deutsche anleitung" (>> german tutorial) or something and are quite happy when they find a forum where they can ask questions in their language.

but i think DeadPixel is right... there only should be one wiki with wikilinks like [[en:home]]

only one registration

one webspace (one up means all are up)

you have automatically the "in other languages" sidebar in every article

you can still use all your domains and link to the main site of your language (most people wont recognize they are on an primary English wiki)

and on these main sites you can link to your individual forum

and of course 'development' should also stay here in this phpbb, i think, otherewise it will be very complicated to develop anything... Exclamation

Hey Ho everybody!

Well, right now I'm at work, but have taken some time to read <most> of the forums. I would really want to help you guys, the only way I can do that now is making a spanish translation for the site (maybe some day, one for the distro?). So I will get to it asap and will post the address here when it's ready, maybe a couple of weeks.

I'm planning a neutral spanish transaltion (from no conuntry in particular, so everyone can get it), but I'm from Mexico, I hope the domain mx.wiili.net is no problem to anyone.
