I'm not asking for roms, but I thought it would be ok if I asked if anyone has seen some way to stream NES or gameboy roms over the internet channel to play on wii?

Under Virtual Console, no. However, there are flash based emulators of systems that should work on the Wii's browser. Unfortunately, all the ones I've encountered use the keyboard, so controlling them is nearly impossible.

Forgot about this post. I tried all the Flash based emulators I could find, and none of them work, except the Chip8 emulator, which requires the roms be on your machine, which the Wii can't do.

The best bet is to get the kit that lets you play GameCube homebrew off SD cards and download emulators and roms onto that.

VNC isn't fast enough over 802.11g to be able to play games very well. It is interesting to find out that someone made a Flash based client, however, it seems that it requires Flash 9, whereas the Wii has Flash 7.

All games that work under Flash 7 and use only the mouse and left button work on the Wii with no modifications. Most of what is on wiicade.com is intended to play on a PC, but work OK on the Wii. For Flash that requires more control, it has to support the wiimote in it's code (there should be examples in the Wiki).
