|
|
I would like to connect the Wii Remote as a functional mouse to my mac and also a pc respectfully not at the same time
MAC
I have the RVL Enabler and the DarwiinRemote programs on the Mac but the RVL Enabler does not find the Wii Remote when I open the search mode in the Wii remote (red sync)
the mac recognizes the wii but dont know how to set it as the mouse
PC (tablet pc)
I have the following installed on the pc
BlueSoleil
WiinRemote
GlovePIE029
Parallel Port Joystick
the pc recognizes the Wii but dont know how to set it up as a mouse
tried the BlueSoleil step with clicking the orange circle while pressing 1 & 2..nothing...
if anyone knows how to step by step connect the wii remote to the mac and pc please let me know
thanks |

I'm working on a program that would allow you to do this very very easily. Gimme a week or two and I'll see what I can do. _________________ Cha0s |

it is recognizing your Wii console, but not the remote? try unplugging the power cord of the console so it won't hog the wiimote when you want to connect it to your pc _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

I don't exactly know if any of those forementioned things can register the IR signals being sent from the Wiimote, but since the computers are recognizing that it's there it may just be a matter of picking up the signal. You need something that has the same effect as the sensor bar for the wii. I don't know if it was bullcrap or whatever, I'm sorry if it was, but I read that tea light candles can be used as a substitute sensor bar. Try that out and see how it works.
A better thing would be just to have a sensr bar for the computer, but I don't know where you'd find one. |

the wiimote does not require a sensor bar to connect to the wii, candles can replace the sensor bar, and the reason for all of this is that the sensor bar in fact is only a lamp with two invisinble lights. the fact of the matter is, interestingly enough, the sensor bar neither gathers any data from the wiimotes nor sends any to the wii, the wiimotes gather data from the sensor bar and transmit it to the wii via bluetooth, a much more reliable and realistic connection that attempting to link to the wii over two unchanging bulbs of infared light i think you will agree. _________________ you only need two things in life....wd40 and duct tape, if its not moving and shloud be, use the wd40....if it is moving and shouldnt be, use the duct tape(or a shotgun) |
