Of course, Nintendo really has a way with hiding information to tick off fans...

But even then they would show more information. Nintendo never shows spoilers, but they always show the game. In the case of SSBB nothing is known. Not even a menu or whatever. So that means it's still in the deep development process.

you may be right and you may be wrong...

Yes, there are only 10 known characters as of date, but June is about 6 months away... they could already have more characters and in their NEXT trailer, they may have new ones (remember, SSBM started off with 14, a new trailer could possibly have 4 newcomers)

However, you can back up this argument with the fact that there are only 10 known stages (shown in trailer 2) which is a lot less than the 18 that were in Melee at the start... of course, if 10 new stages are shown in a single trailer, at least 8 more can be shown in another plus a glimpse at the menus (which really don't matter)

Even if they have all charakters and stages and the physics (which I don't beleave) they haven't shown any menus jet. Which modi will there be? All the scenes from the past trailer (which wasn't in June, in June was the first trailer, the second was at the beginning of december. Search YouTube for "World Tour") were only at a normal Melee-Mode.
Adventure mode or anything other not showed yet.
So forget that stupid release-date fake.

There is no way it will come out on June 1st, when was the last time Nintendo released a popular franchise game on a Friday? Maybe it will come out a few days after June 1st, such as the 3rd or 4th, but I don't think we will see it until November. They need something to be out that will take sales away from Halo 3, and this would do it.

The original release date for the game was terrific for Nintendo because they could do all there bragging at E3 saying that this game is coming out in Dec. and it's going to be phenomial and they promised us all these titles this year and they wern't backing down.

Well they lied. I understand technical difficulties and a reason why it should have been delayed, like features, technology, marketing. However when you create a sure release date in my opinion you're to stick with it and Nintendo didn't do this and it's really dissapointing I could be playing the game right now but nope can't legally anyway.

The new release date (if not changed again) is mediocre I would better understand it coming out right before Chrsitmas for the big holiday rush deals on the game and not to mention how Nintendo would benefit thereselves. Galaxy in my opinion was led out to be to much everyone (including me) was expecting a just brand new, wanna play all the time, hardcore game, however you could easily beat it in a week. If Nintendo is delaying te game so they don't get another turn out like this game then I can see there point but otherwise it was stupid, dishonest, and pothetic.

There are videos available showing people trying out the game so it is already at a "playable" stage. Whether everything has been refined is still unknown.

One problem that seriously affected DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 was the VERY LAGGY online play. That must be something the Smash Team is trying to ensure doesn't happen with the final release.
