Yes, all data for the Wii remote is sent through bluetooth, but what do you mean by pointer mouse info?

Shigeruo Miyamoto said that early in developement of the Wii (at that point it was still a prototype called codename: Revolution) they tried to make the on screen pointer work with just the accelerometers, but found it wasnt nearly accurate enough, so as a fix they threw in the IR emitting sensor bar and put a little infrared camera/CCD chip to translate the IR data with the accelerometer data to get the precision that he felt was required. I think its really neat how if u rotate the wii-mote while in the wii-menu it makes the pointer-hand rotate, but if u still move ur arm up it goes up, but in madden 07 if u rotate the wii-mote and try to move the cursor it is still oriented with the wii-mote(i.e. if you hold ur wii-mote 90° sideways and move ur arm up the cursor goes to the right or left, not up and down).

He means the movements you make. And yes they are all sent through Bluetooth. The Sensor Bar is just a way for the Wii-mote to find out where the hell the TV is. The only reason that the Sensor Bar is connected to the Wii is because it needs power to emit the light.
