Maybe I am just stupid, but I cant seem to make the infrared pointing work no matter what on WMD, on wminput it works, but wminput is kindof jittery so far in my opinion, I'd like to use WMD's infrared pointing, theres a part in the config about IR.. Does it even work?
BTW: I am using the cheap candles trick as a source of IR. as I said it works in wminput |

UPDATE: Did some research and from what I've read the candles cause instability at times in the pointer.. I will get some LEDs and try again, but a response would be appreciated on how to make the pointer work in WMD still. |

I installed WMD 0.1.2 and the IR sensing worked out of the box. I used the Wii sensor bar to test it, so you might need a stronger IR emitter?
You don't have to put any specific config to use the IR sensor as far as I know. |
