I constructed my own sensor bar, but my Wiimote don't see 2 Dots with WiinRemote. I used 2 LED's of an old pocket lamp... Why ?
I have fixed it with my hot-glue gun, now its very hard to change the LED's.
Can i use my soldering bolt to unfix it?
(I think i will go monday to shop and buy IR Leds?)

Those are not IR LEDS. You can tell because they look like they are not lit up when you look at them, but with your camera they have a slight blueish/white tint. |

Not true. First, a lot of IR light sources also emit visible light. Second, the camera can see lower frequency lights than people can. If you put point a digital camera at the Wii sensor bar, you'll see the lights on its view screen. _________________ Cha0s |

leds emit em radiation in a narrow band, at most an IR led would emit a faint red glow only visible if you look close in a darker enviroment _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!

*points to caveat #2*
If you point a camera at IR LEDs, you'll see them.
EDIT: That's not to say that he may not have IR LEDs. I have no idea. But we can't assume from that picture that he doesn't. _________________ Cha0s |

In WiinRemote I usually find it takes me a few attempts before it picks up the IR, just press Crtl+R a few times.
It is also possible you don't have IR LEDs (I can't imagine a pocket lamp would use them). _________________ My "sensor" bar. |

also, depending on the IR led you use some form some angles it will be barelly emitting any IR radiation, and are you sure you are providing enough energy to it? _________________ please put the scripts on the wiki so they dont get lost as new stuff is posted!
