But with so much traffic and the current load I'm now wondering what kind of server and connection would we need to provide a fast and reliable service to the WiiLi community???
Traffic is increasing daily and I can't imagine what will happen after Europe and Asia gets the Wii and once we boot the kernel, and get the wiimote drivers ready.

The traffic will die off fairly quickly as far as wiki and forum use. The "newness" will wear off. In the long term the popularity will depend on how much cool stuff we as a community can come up with.
How much would it be for you to keep the wiki and the forum running on dreamhost? possibly with a bit of a server upgrade to keep things running smoothly for the next year? That and shove all the code and file management to a sourceforge project, and you'll be all set. |

That's one way to offload the SVN and project releases traffic! |
I like this idea, anyone used this before?
With the links we are selling and the donations, we should have our new server soon. |

| Google runs a good shop. Their code hosting is new, but I'd be all for it.[/quote] |
