From what I've heard, the new version of WiiRemoteJ is to be out very soon. As many of you should know, this project is closely related to WiiRemoteJ (because it's Java based, we are not capable of coding every single thing, and library usage is our best option). For that reason, we are waiting for the new release to come, and then we can continue OpenPIE's development.
On the other hand, I guess this thread will be a nice place to post about new advancements and achievements about the project.
Feel free to comment on this.

It wasn't meant to be sarcasm, sorry if It seemed that way. Anything that says "OpenPIE" is closer to being released makes me say "yay" lol

Is anything going to be shown or released of this ever? I was willing to help, but wanted to see some results first before I started doing anything and have seen nothing yet. whats going on? Confused

Are there any updates on the project? (betas, etc.)
I really would love to use my wiimote on my Linux.
Right now I have it on a really slow Windows machine.

EDIT: Okay after reading the above posts it looks like its not coming out
