These are probably many nOOb questions, but anyways im trying to understand what wiinremote does (if my understanding is correct let me know). From what i've read i believe that wiinremote is a program just like GlovePIE that allows the running of scripts to control other programs on the PC, yes....no?
Now the other question what is PPJoy used for is it once again used for scripting or somthing else?
Finally, I've found the RMX page here but i don't understand what its saying and showing, is it jus like BlueSoleil? Does it only allow for certain button setup, meaning they cannot be change? Can it be run in conjuntion with GlovePIE?

Thx for any responses Very Happy

WiinRemote doesn't allow scritp as far asd I know, the only thign it does is give you a basic (but quite good) ability to control the mouse cursor with the wiimote in a few ways (basicly with a sensor bar, with the motion sensors and with the nunchuck)

PPJoy is aprogram that creates virtual joysticks that other programs on the computer think they are real joysticks, and those virtual joysticks can have be controled by GlovePie scripts

and about RMX, I coudln't get it working on my machine, it crashes when I try to run it after installed, and I haen't looked much into it yet...

What!?! it runs scripts for what? glovePIE connects to the controller and reads the input data the hardware is giving it via bluetooth and then telling windows the user pushed a button (button is based on the script?).

The wiimote is hardware that does what its made to do. Check it circuits for button presses and movement and sends the input out via bluetooth. It can also store data so it does that too. It doesnt 'run' any real code except for the connecting to a device and reading what the device wants it to do (like saving data or light up a LED so the player knows what player # he is). What would scripts do on a remote? and why would hardware needs scripts?

WiinRemote is a program that "converts" the Wiimote data into mouse data (http://onakasuita.org/wii/index-e.html)
