I've been wondering, with these quicksolder chips, why not create a modchip which just goes over the top of the points, making the connection, then attaches to the board with stickypads or something like that, making it easier for users, or is this not possible for some reason?

I think someone made a 'Solder-less' Modification of the Wiip modchip
