Guys I need help with this one, can we write a nice petition to Nintendo to support us on this project so we can use the Nintendo as a computer and learn about Linux, programing, etc.

As you can tell I'm not really good at English but if you can help visiting the wiki and trying to write and improve the petition, perhaps Nintendo will support us. The right words could really make it happen! so please go here and edit http://www.wiili.org/index.php?title=Nintendo_petition

Also let's add page in the wiki with all our nicks, ages, skills, etc... so everyone knows who made WiiLi happen.

I think we should wait until the project gets going before talking to Nintendo. Also, wait until the Wii actually comes out :p

I dont think we should talk to Nintendo about it at all... I doubt they will want any part in this project, nor will they want it to continue. I would rather we not tell Nintendo about this... legal or not.

nintendo shouldn't be in on this project until its full operational, if they should ever need to know about this.

The problem is that Nintendo wants to launch their own MP3, Video Player in a few month's. I don't think they'd like the idea of having a free linux distro running on their Wii's that allows people to load Mp3's and movies without buying their products.

Hie every1 Im new!

Anyway Im not sure that Ninty wants to launch there own media stuff, if anything they always show to be against that. ALso I think they would like it if they thought they had potential programmers writing apps for there system. If no-one does Im up for writing the letter this week-end
