| Do Nintendo really need to help out with developing WiiLi? There wasn't much help form them in making DS Linux, or GameCube Linux, or Apple in helping with iPod Linux. |

| I believe it would be better to first achieve a stable build of tuxido first, before asking for Nintendo's help. In the beginning they may see the project as premature and not want to offer any assistance at all. So if a stable build of tuxido is presented before Nintendo that shows all some of the "Revolutionary" features we hope to implement into the project, I believe they would find that more interesting and possibly worth their time and support. There would be a good foundation to work from and I believe they would see that. Going on someone's word or ideas from the start is generally something a big company such as Nintendo would not take part in; they have their own business to run with games to make and consoles to sell. The only real way I see Nintendo supporting this project from the beginning without a preview or beta build of what we hope to accomplish with this project, is if the petition that you wish to send to has more than a million signatures with all of the people stating this is definitely something they want to see their Wii do. |

| Judging by what other companies have done in the past, I think they will want nothing to do with this. The only thing is that Nintendo sometimes likes to do things differently than other companies. This petition can't hurt, though, as the worst they can do is say no. |

I think the best-case scenario would be where they just ignore us and let us do our thing. We really need to make sure they don't feel threatened enough to force firmware updates that stop WiiLi from working.
Any situation where they accept WiiLi as a "developer" so-to-speak and allow us to provide WiiLi over virtual console or something is really just a wet dream, but a sexy one nonetheless. |

well, there is no way that they won't find out about WiiLi, so it really can't hurt to ask for their help.
If you ask and they say yes then great. if they say no then it's no big deal |

| Wiili right now is very far from common knowledge so their not going to find out about it anytime soon. Its going to be a long long time untill nintendo feels it right to take action against wiili if they do feel it fit. I say we get wiili working and if its not possible without nintendo's help, then contact nintendo. |
