|
|
I'm interested in starting a project to communicate with the wii via bluetooth something that can allow a PC to become a Wiimote.
The wiki mentions a need for such a program: <link omitted, lame forum rules>
"We could create a Bluetooth device that emulates a Wiimote, and pairs with a Wii. ch0p says it might be possible. I've heard that conventional Bluetooth chipsets can't do it, but nobody knows for sure."
Since the remote communicates over bluetooth HID, I'm hoping to be able to use this project as a base:

Has anyone else done any work on this? Any thoughts?
Thanks,

| I'm hoping this counts as my second post and I can put the links in the next post. |

Okay, I still can't post links. Very annoying.
I've seen two other posts on this forum regarding the issue, but neither contained any technical depth. I would link to them if I could. Search for the following topics to see them:

and

The project I'm hoping to use as a base is at

| I never found any technical info on it, so I moved onto solving my problem in a different way. I'm still interested in this, however, so I may take a look at it sometime. If you know of anyone else interested in such a project, please let me know. |

Well I was thinking of easiest way would be to use a csr based bluetooth dongle and change its settings (using bccmd app) to match a wii remote, and then somehow remove the sdp records that are in use with bluez and add our own.
btw whats your different way if you don't mind me asking? |
